An organization of visual artists opened their studios to the public for the first annual Art Harvest Studio Tour in 1993. Since then, thousands of visitors have come to beautiful Yamhill County to meet some of the area’s most talented artists. They watch demonstrations, admire creative studios and purchase their work.

The Art Harvest Tour is made possible through the volunteer spirit of the artists involved, the generosity of our dedicated sponsors, and the enthusiastic support from our thousands of studio visitors.

We are a non-profit organization supporting the arts and arts education. You may not know our name, but you probably know our programs! These include the Art Harvest Studio Tour, as well as Paper Gardens Creative Writing Contest, Terroir Creative Writing Festival, and Make Music McMinnville. We also provide sponsorship support for the McMinnville Short Film Festival, and the Willamette Valley Lavender Festival & Plein Air Art Show, scholarships for graduating high schoolers, and small grants for arts projects in local schools. We are a nearly all-volunteer organization, and our funding comes primarily from our community via membership dues, donations, and grants. We are proud to be part of the longevity and success of the Art Harvest Studio Tour, and look forward to many future years supporting the arts!

Val Blaha |  AAYC Board President 2022-2024

As the 2024 tour coordinator, I am proud to be part of this important county-wide arts experience. We acknowledge our talented AHST artists who have donated countless volunteer hours and open their studios as ambassadors for the Yamhill County artistic community for 30 years. We appreciate the support of our corporate and private contributors whose generosity guarantees this successful event. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for visitors to meet the artists in their working environment, gaining insight into their creative process and a greater appreciation for the value of the work they produce.

James Nelson | Tour Coordinator

On behalf of the Art Harvest Studio Tour Committee, I extend our thanks to the studio tour production team, the work of our local artists, and our valuable contributors. We are excited to invite the public to enjoy an enlightening journey into the work of visual artists and we thank you in advance for your participation.

Adele O'Neal | AHST Committee Chair
