Pastel Painting

I offer plein air pastel paintings based on local landscapes and the Oregon Coast. My figurative work starts when something catches my eye; especially people going about their daily activities. Studio pastels are based on reference photographs, sketches and notes. Many of my works are derived from trips to Bolivia and from the streets of La Paz. And then there's my favorite peony paintings!

In Newberg, go east on Hwy 99W (E 1st St). The Artisanal Wine Cellar is a few store fronts east of Art Elements Gallery and around the corner from Gary  Buhler's Blue Trout Gallery on College.
